Who is cold, raise your hand up? I’m mega cold, I will soon make an obsession around this whole theory, but I can not stop myself. This cold weather and the fact that I must wear lots of layers of clothes makes me crazy. It happened, and not once to tell a friend how many pieces of clothing I have on me in an ordinary winter day and I realized that something was wrong when I saw her facial expression …. you know, that look in which her eyes open more and more, the eyebrows are arching up and the mouth opens as an oval …. after a few experiences like this I calmed down and I began to shut up whenever it came to this subject. So I’m only wearing a sweater, trousers and the coat at ten degrees bellow (in my dreams maybe!). But if I start to think there is a logical explanation for all the excess clothes: I do not like jackets, I wear them only when it is necessary or at the mountain. So a coat can’t replace a jacket and therefore I have to replace with something that goose fluff, existing in a warm winter jacket .

I’m an accessories lover. Of all kinds! In great demand in my closet are now scarves, neckcloths, everything big and warm, to cover my neck and and give a fresh air to the outfit.

My friend Oana Gavrila, who among others paints very nice and makes some very interesting hand made accessories, sent me (to the editorial )a few pictures with her scarves and how she wears them. I must admit that I liked very much her ideas and that is why I recommend it to you too.
The idea is that the longer and more colourful (your favourite colour) the scarf is, the easier will be for you to find an original way to wear it. Scarves, neckcloths, shawls are holding place for those of you who are not jewelry fans. In addition, they keep warm!

You can also match a colour from your scarf with your lipstick or nail varnish or take a pair of boots that have a color from it.

An all black outfit will get a splash of colour with a scarf that’s worth every penny and will emphasize your persona style. In three words, the scarf is a necessary, chic and inexpensive accessory!

At the outfit below, although the coat has a beautiful coral color, the scarf completed the outfit through those warm beiges. It has created a visual unity between the lively coat, the hair and the fair pale skin.

 

Walking down the street, in spring time, I see a lot of young ladies dressed in black jeans, leather jackets and boots or sneakers. Nothing wrong with that, but if you don’t want to wear the so called “uniform”, throw a colourful scarf over your jacket…(as in the picture or in other colors such as yellow, green, purple, blue etc), you will look completely different from the classmate or office co-workers, which you do not like them :).

 

Have you ever thought to use the scarf as in the first two images below? Well, a scarf or a shawl, used in this way will change the outfit completely! A simple black overcoat will look ultra chic, if you put over a very long shawl caught in the waist with a cord.

 

  

A bow is feminine, every time I think of bows, Minnie comes to my mind, it’s a very sweet animated character. 🙂 Try to make a bow to a long scarf and place it to fall slightly over one shoulder.
